I'm a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional with First Point Financial Management, and my work comes down to something simple: helping people make clear, confident decisions about their money so they can focus on the rest of their lives. That might mean building a retirement roadmap, putting an investment strategy in place, or thinking through estate and tax questions - but it always starts with understanding what actually matters to the person across the table.
I've been with First Point Financial Management since 2018, drawn to the firm's commitment to independent, genuinely personalized advice. I earned my degree in Finance with a specialization in Financial Planning from California State University, Northridge, and began my career at Morgan Stanley, where I earned my FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses. I later completed my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, which sharpened the way I approach comprehensive, big-picture planning.
What I enjoy most is the relationships. Financial planning isn't really about crunching numbers - it's about people, and the stories and goals behind their decisions. I try to give advice that fits each person's particular situation, whether they're working through something difficult or celebrating a milestone.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me with a good book, planning the next trip somewhere new, cheering on the Lakers, or spending time with my wife and our (very energetic) puppy. I think a lot about balance - and helping clients find that same sense of balance in their financial lives is a big part of why I do this.
If we haven't met yet, I'd love to connect and hear what you're working toward.
